What a smile!

While I'm working on a portrait of two Bichons, and in my spare time painting the walls in my house...I'll post a photo of my canine niece that makes me smile big. Here's Georgia, with the sweetest expression!

Muffy and Nicky

This is Muffy the Shih Tzu and her brother, Nicky the Shih Tzu mix. They are my latest portrait commissions. Muffy has an underbite. I love underbites, in both dogs and people. My sister had one and my husband still has one. Elwood has an underbite, too. So cute.

It took a few revisions to get these cuties just right. Revisions can be tricky because of the way I apply my paint. It was definitely a learning experience for which I'm grateful.
