I took this picture in Myrtle Beach in April. I was inches away from this face.
Wow, I've been away from blogland for a
looooong time. That seems to be a recurring theme in my blog posts since September. Why September? Because that's when the school year started. It was a rough one for me. Not because of the kids; I had absolutely wonderful students this year. I just spread myself way too thin and couldn't ever really strike a balance between school, extra-curricular activities, my Greek program, my pet portrait business, and planning a wedding. Whew!
My Greek program is over, the wedding is in two months, and I've quit some extra-curricular positions. So the next school year should be a LOT better. Until then...
HOORAY FOR SUMMER! My last day of school was Friday so tomorrow morning I don't have to wake up to my alarm clock at 4:30 (but I probably will naturally wakeup then anyway!)
Time to do the fun, crafty wedding-planning stuff. I'm looking forward to it. And time to finish painting Charley, my friend Elaine's adorable dog. Can't wait!
Happy Summer!
P.S. Linda, I need details from Tahiti!
