JULY SPECIAL

I'm so glad summer is here. Last summer I created many portraits for wonderful clients and I can't wait to have another productive season this summer. To kick it off, I'm offering a 15% discount on any commissioned portrait ordered in the month of July. Just send me an e-mail with "July Special" in the subject line to get the process started.

The lovely spokesmodel for this advertisement is Molly, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier that lives across the street. Isn't she cute? She'll get her wish one of these days.

Happy Summer!

Slower than a Galapagos turtle going uphill

I took this picture in Myrtle Beach in April. I was inches away from this face.

Wow, I've been away from blogland for a looooong time. That seems to be a recurring theme in my blog posts since September. Why September? Because that's when the school year started. It was a rough one for me. Not because of the kids; I had absolutely wonderful students this year. I just spread myself way too thin and couldn't ever really strike a balance between school, extra-curricular activities, my Greek program, my pet portrait business, and planning a wedding. Whew!

My Greek program is over, the wedding is in two months, and I've quit some extra-curricular positions. So the next school year should be a LOT better. Until then...HOORAY FOR SUMMER! My last day of school was Friday so tomorrow morning I don't have to wake up to my alarm clock at 4:30 (but I probably will naturally wakeup then anyway!)

Time to do the fun, crafty wedding-planning stuff. I'm looking forward to it. And time to finish painting Charley, my friend Elaine's adorable dog. Can't wait!

Happy Summer!

P.S. Linda, I need details from Tahiti!
